As the disclaimer on this project says: "Knitty Gritty" is a fictional knitting club. It does not actually exist. This website was conceived as a design for an online knitting club. It constituted my final, self-directed project in my Visual Communications degree. I developed my own typeface, also called Knitty Gritty and used it throughout the site.

Its manifesto reads as follows: "Knitty Gritty" knitting club was established in 2003 and is based in Dublin. Its aims are to promote the art of knitting as a healthy, contemporary pastime, through the establishment of a club dedicated to knitting.
